About Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn Redmond is a Suzuki certified violin teacher from Portugal Cove, NL. She received her Bachelor of Music from Memorial University (MUN) in Violin/Composition in 2018 and her Master of Music in Performance/Pedagogy (MUN) in 2022. Most recently, Ms. Redmond was a section violin player for the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra, received a Diploma in Chamber Music (2023) under the tutelage of Dr. Jeremy Bell (WLU) and completed the two-year Suzuki Teacher Training under the direction of Paule Barsalou. Jacquelyn regularly performs with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. As a teacher, Ms. Redmond strives to create a welcoming environment to foster each student’s passion for music and violin.

In my spare time, you can find me curled up with a good book, fostering cats, playing board games with friends or wandering outside on a rare sunny newfoundland day!
