Violin Lessons
Offering private violin lessons in person and via zoom. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I provide personalized lessons to help you improve your skills and reach your musical goals.
Suzuki Method Instruction
As a certified Suzuki Teacher, your child will have access to the Suzuki Talent Education Program of St. John's - otherwise known as S.T.E.P. - and all the subsequent benefits of the suzuki method.
When choosing the suzuki method, you are choosing to build a lifelong connection with your child and the violin. By participating in group classes, your child is building strong and supportive social connections with other young musicians in their community.
Performance Coaching
As part of my approach, I also offer performance coaching to help students prepare for recitals, auditions, or competitions. I work closely with each student to build confidence and stage presence, ensuring they deliver performances of which they are proud.
My Approach
My approach to teaching violin goes beyond just the technical aspects. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can explore their passion for music. I believe in the power of personalized instruction to nurture each student's unique talents and inspire a lifelong love for the violin and subsequently, music.

Regardless of the genre you desire to play, I will help you develop strong foundational skills that set you up for independence in the future. All of my lessons are focused on developing critical thinking and self-directed learning skills, both of which are transferable to all aspects of life.

Lastly, I aim for every lesson to be filled with encouragement, and self-belief. It brings joy to my heart to have lessons filled with inquisitive questions, honest statements and laughter and to leave the lesson with a smile.
